Return Policy
Return Policy
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a store credit, exchange, or refund.
If you need to return an item, we only issue store credits or exchanges.Orders are only eligible for refunds in certain circumstances. If you would like to know if your order falls under the “certain circumstances” category, email us at mulberryhillboutique@gmail.com. Or, please see the Refunds section.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Store Credit/Exchanges
In the event you were not satisfied with your item and do not want to receive a different item to exchange it, you will be issued a Store Credit. You will not receive a refund. If you receive a Store Credit, the cost of shipping will be not be included in the Store Credit total. Only the total for the item(s) itself will be issued as a Store Credit.
If you need a different size, color, or style in the item you received, you will be offered to Exchange that item. We pull items directly from our Store Front, therefore if we do not have the next size, color, or style, that you need/want, we will offer you a Store Credit instead.
To begin this process, first email us at mulberryhillboutique@gmail.com. In this email, we ask for you to let us know whether you would like a Store Credit or Exchange.
You will need to mail your item back to us at: 617 2nd Ave North Clanton, AL 35045. You are responsible for covering shipping costs.
If you send your item back to us and we have not heard from you regarding if you will be needing a Store Credit or Exchange, we will email or call you with the contact info we have on file. If we cannot get in contact with you and you have still not reached out to us within 14 days of us receiving the item back, it will be Restocked in our storefront with no Exchange, Store Credit, or Refund.
Canceled Orders
Canceled orders will result in a 10% restocking fee that will be deducted from your Refund total.
Refunds
In the event that you were received a damaged item, an incorrect item, or a mistake was made on an associate's part while shipping your item to you, you will be given the option to receive a Refund along with the options of a Store Credit or Exchange.
Once your return is received and inspected by us, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Then, we will begin the refund process. Within 48 business hours, you will be sent an email from Mulberryhillboutique@gmail.com stating that a refund was issued. Refunds are only issued in the same form of initial payment.
Refunds are NOT issued unless item is damaged prior to receiving item or if there was a mistake on associate's part.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund within 1 week of being sent an email stating your refund was issued, reach out to us by email.
Once a refund is issued on our end, we do not have the capability to re-issue it or see where it currently stands. In the event that your refund is still not in your account, please contact your credit card company or bank.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be returned for a Store Credit or Exchange, unfortunately sale items are not eligible for returns.
Defective Items
Please keep in mind that at this time, we do not manufacture our own clothing.
If there is a thread that is in between layers or that seems out of place, and you are not satisfied with your product, we ask you to reach out to us and send pictures of the item. Upon receiving your email, we reach out to the manufacturing company. Depending on the company's response, we will either Exchange your item or offer you a Refund or Store Credit.
While this is a rare situation, there are occasionally ink spots found on the inside of garments. We have received confirmation from many manufacturers that this is washable ink that is used in the warehouse while the product is being made. If your item has what looks to be ink on it, email us immediately with pictures of the defect. Before we move forward, we will confirm with the company whether this might be Washable or Permanent ink.
Washable Ink: If the company verifies that the ink is washable, we will send you proof from the company. In this situation, we do suggest in keeping the item and washing/drying it like normal. For the mishap, we will issue you a partial store credit for any inconvenience that this may cause you.
Permanent Ink: If the company cannot verify that it is washable, we will issue you a refund. Or, if the company initially stated that it was washable, but turned out not to be, we will still issue a refund.
We deeply apologize if any of the above take place. With being a rapidly growing, but still Small Businesses, we personally analyze all items prior to going out on the floor, but there are occasional times that things do slip through the cracks. We want to handle this as soon as possible to make sure you are getting full use of your product, we just ask you to work with us as it may take time to hear back from a manufacturing company.
You may be asked to send the item back to us. If so, we will send you an email with a prepaid shipping label for you to send it back. You will not have to pay for shipping costs if you use this label.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
Shipping

If you choose to return your item for Store Credit or an exchange, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a Store Credit, the cost of shipping will be not be included in the Store Credit total.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item if there is no proof of tracking or insurance.
